It was a dark and stormy Sunday, the kind of day other real estate agents may well have curled up with a book and hot chocolate. Stephanie was no common real estate agent, however. Quickly checking her phone as she pulled in to the drive of the house to show, she noticed her buyers were already there.
She chugged the remaining Shadrachs in her cup, replaced the empty cup to the center console cup holder, and jumped from her Jeep, briskly closing the distance from her car to the garage overhang, seeking even a meager respite from the foul weather.
"Are you ready to see the house? We'll go in through the front door."
The group marched on the sidewalk to the front door, wiped their feet, and trickled in through the door.
"Oh my gosh, this entry-way is beautiful!" The woman in the group was excited. Stephanie presumed this was the wife.
