We originally rented the home we ended up purchasing through Jim and Betty back in February of 2021. They took a chance on us when my credit wasn't steriling and were excellent "landlords." They knew we were interested in purchasing a home at some point in 2022 and took the time to come by and work with us on a plan on multiple occasions, not knowing the home we were renting was going to all of a sudden be on the market.

Jim and Betty were referred to us by my friend, and our current realtor, Keri Couvillion, in the Phoenix Metro area. We flew to AK from AZ to look at houses. When we met Jim, we were not only impressed with his knowledge of the local area but his vast knowledge overall of real estate, laws, etc. We knew right then he was the one we wanted to have as our realtor.
We had a complicated purchase because we were moving from AZ. Jim helped us navigate getting through Canada with current info during the Covid 19 pandemic. We needed a pre occupancy agreement as well. Jim made this process as easy as he possibly could for us. We literally drove into town from AZ and went straight to our new house. He was fantastic to work with!
Jim spent approx 8 hours driving us around, showing us many, many homes and gave us much needed local expertise on restaurants, shopping, geographical features, etc. We weren't quite ready to buy yet, but he kept in contact with us frequently by phone as well as new daily listings and updates on the market until our home was sold in AZ. He drove by and researched properties for us when we couldn't as we were over 3800 miles away. He went above and beyond anything we could even have expected!
