My husband and I were referred to Jesse from a mutual friend. Upon meeting Jesse, we were impressed with his market knowledge and "go-getter" attitude. Jesse recommended we list our home at the top of the market based on recent comparable sales in our neighborhood. Jesse advised our home showed well, and that he felt it would go under contract quickly, and sell for top dollar.
We listed our home on a Thursday and 2 days later we received an offer that we eventually accepted. Our buyers were not easy to work with (to say the least) and it was during the negotiation process when we realized that Jesse didn't impress us as much as we had initially thought.
During the entire negotiation/closing process, we realized that Jesse did not want to fight for us as his clients. Instead, he wanted to take the easy road and the one without any confrontations on his part. From inspections, repair work, appraisal, and closing we never felt valued as his clients. It felt like Jesse worked for the "buyers" instead of us as his "sellers". The final straw was made at closing when Jesse never had the decency to show up at settlement to represent us as his clients. We had spoken to Jesse the morning of settlement, and he never advised us that he would not be present at closing. Instead, we arrived to closing for the title company to advise us that our realtor would not be present! We signed our closing documents and left only to get a phone call from the title company 30 minutes later when the buyers arrived to sign their documents with an issue threatening not to settle. The title company, the buyer's agent, nor my husband and I could get a hold of Jesse. Come to find out, Jesse was vacationing in the Outer Banks and took over 45 minutes to return our call, only after we had to call his broker to try to get resolution on the issue so the sale of our house could go through.
Overall, my husband and I were not pleased. We did NOT have a good "customer experience" working with Jesse. We would not recommend him to any of our family and/or friends who are looking to buy/sell. Jesse is personable but has a lot to learn in how to treat your customers. Being present and available for your clients, returning their phone calls and/or emails in a timely matter, representing and fighting for your clients when confrontations may arise because it is in their best interests, being involved in the home buying/selling process from beginning to end (all the way to closing) goes a LONG WAY with your clients.
Even after the sale, when my husband and I tried to reach out to Jesse for further issues from the buyers, Jesse was unresponsive and has never returned our phone call. We had to resolve the issue on our own.
While Jesse did get us a great price on the sale of our home, we could have gotten the same results from another experienced real estate agent. The overall experience for us was severely lacking, and we were greatly disappointed in the service we received for a $14k commissioned sale.

After having a negative experience with another realtor, I contacted Jesse and he immediately put me in touch with one of his buyers agents. I worked hand in hand with both Jesse & Linnea and after finding a property that my wife and I liked, Jesse and Linnea were able to negotiate a bellow asking offer! Jesse & Linnea were both accessible all the time, and as a first time buyer I felt comfortable, and educated about the whole process. I would definitely recommend the Jesse & the Jesse Hoffman Team!

It was nice experience to work with Jesse, I got what exactly I was looking for. Excellent location and genuine price as well. I and my family are happy to have a home like this. I normally don't like to post reviews so this is my first time and Jesse's great services made me to make a review and I am feeling good to write everything here. He is friendly also, you will get every answer related to your house with honesty and that's what every customer wants. Good Luck Jesse Hoffman . Jesse Hoffman is also honest.
