I have never been more pleased with my experience working with the Rockwell Group, and that's all due to our phenomenal agent, Ty Murdock. This is not my first experience working with Ty. I specifically reached out to Ty knowing I had to sell the home he helped me purchase in 2021. This time, I had to sell and buy simultaneously. My home took a lot longer to sell than expected. In the last 7 years I have logged 12 real estate transactions in five different cities, utilizing the services of 8 different agents. TY MURDOCK is only one of two realtors I hired a second time for a subsequent sale/purchase. Ty is THE BEST. What makes for a great realtor? What I've learned is that first and foremost your agent needs to be your ADVOCATE. They need to be "for you." This may seem obvious and it is in the sense that the vast majority know how to appear to act on your behalf before they're hired. The real question is: how much do they care about protecting your best interests when it doesn't impact their own? Or when it impacts them "negatively" (more work!) Ty had my back from beginning to end, tirelessly helping with a myriad different contractors as we prepared to sell a home this year. Then more work researching the viability of selling a separate tax lot separately. Even if it has been viable (it was not) the commission on selling that second lot would have been modest. But that didn't stop Ty from wanting to make sure all the angles had been exhausted. The same with the negotiations. Most agents, I've found, will only reluctantly or not at all rally behind efforts to leave no money on the table. Why? Because whether you, the seller, make an additional $10K or $20K, for example, will not result in a significant commission bump for them. What they most desire is a quick and easy process, without a lot of back and forth and sweating the details. I sweat the details (!) And Ty Murdock not only sweated it out with me, he respected me for it. I don't know what the future holds real estate wise in Southern Oregon, but you can be sure that Ty will be involved when we next sell or buy a property. 2023
Brad Bohnstedt was a pleasure to work with. He worked tirelessly to find us an AirBnb short-term rental investment property in Oregon when we live in Idaho. He is responsive and patient. The only issue we encountered was the lack of knowledge of short-term rental regulations/limitations in the cities we were searching for homes in. It was important to us to be able to obtain permission for a short-term rental. We ended up doing most of the legwork and researching with the cities to find out what the rules and regulations are since we had to make fast offers from out of state. The home we ended up purchasing wouldn't allow us to obtain a short-term rental permit due to the proximity of another one, but we weren't aware of those specifics until we were too far into escrow. If we weren't able to convert the finished basement into our own studio to lock off so we could visit whenever we wanted, we would have had to back-out of the sale.
That is is my only complaint. Otherwise, I would definitely reach out to Brad again if we are ever in the market for another home or sell our newly purchased home in Oregon in the future. 2021

The only reason I am giving Paul Bruck 5 stars is because the website would not allow me to give him 10 stars...... Paul was amazingly helpful with the purchase of my home. I live in TX and made a quick trip to OR and only had 1 day to view prospective homes. Paul showed me 10 homes. I attempted to put in an offer on 3 different homes but lost out as offers had just been received that day. He was diligent and found the perfect listing that just went active that morning - and the rest was history. As I was leaving for TX the next day Paul was amazingly helpful with coordinating everything remotely. He even offered to be present for the bank appraisal. You will be hard pressed to find a more knowledgeable, honest and hard-working realtor. 2019

JJ and JR in the Medford, Oregon office both were helpful and professional. They marketed the property and the sale was based on a walk-in at an open house they advertised and hosted well. They communicated often, and did not wait for buyers...they found buyers for us. They also had a good connection to an agent in the Portland/Salem area who was also great, and helped a lot with our purchase of the new house in another part of Oregon.
