We worked with Kelley this fall under somewhat unusual circumstances - we were looking to buy a house quickly in an area we didn't know much about while living in another state. A mutual acquaintance introduced us to Kelley and before we came down for a quick visit, Kelley spoke with us on the phone and gave us a thorough rundown about the area. When we met in person, she took us to see houses we were interested in as well as taught us quite a bit about the area in a short amount of time - she is clearly knowledgeable! While we didn't find a house during our visit, we left with a much better idea of where we wanted to live and what we were looking for. We did find a house that we were interested in after leaving, and Kelley was excellent about doing a virtual tour as well as navigating us through what turned into a rather complex sales process. She was also great about checking on the property for us as we were getting some things taken care of, since we were doing everything remotely. Overall, Kelley was responsive, clearly knew the area, looked out for us and kept a positive attitude even when things got a little frustrating during the closing process. Kelley was a pleasure to work with on the purchase of our new home. In this buyers market, she used her experience to help us win a bidding war without simply paying more than the next guy. In addition, the home inspection threw us a curve ball, but Kelley facilitated a solution that was fair for both parties. Kelley Cressman is the best Real Estate Professional! I live in NY & wanted to purchase a home in FL for my daughter & her family to live in. Kelley did an awesome job of emailing listings to me for a few months. When we finally had a chance to go to Florida & meet with Kelley, Kelley was thoroughly prepared with a long list of places to take us to. She spent 3 full days taking us around from house to house. She didn't try to make us see houses that were above our price range & stuck to the areas we had requested. Kelley always was professional & friendly. She had so much patience. It was such a pleasure dealing with Kelley.She was also honest about all the houses she showed us. She told us the pro's & cons &whether she thought the house was a good deal or if it was overpriced. She loves her work and it shows. Kelley took us to a beautiful area & we put a deposit on a house. Kelley said she could arrange closing without me having to go back to FL. However, the day after I got back to NY, I happened to see another house I liked better (a foreclosure) online. This house was just resisted that day. Instead of being upset that we changed our mind on the other house, she went right away to look at it for us & put a bid in for us. She cancelled the binder on the first house & we were able to put a deposit on the second house. She was able to get my original deposit back without any problems & she never complained. She made several trips to the house to meet with our friend who would look at it for us and also to meet inspectors at the house. Whenever I had a question, I could call her, email her, or text her and she got right back to me. Kelley gave us awesome advice as to how we should negotiate the price with the seller.
