My wife and I have purchased six houses over the span of 30+ years. Weve seen some sketchy things and had a few disappointments and negative experiences along the way. In June 2021, we interviewed a couple of agents and selected Caitlin Tubbs Wilson as our buyers agent for a house purchase in Tuscaloosa.

At the time, the market was fast-moving. A 2nd challenge was the fact that we were living 1 hour 45 minutes from Tuscaloosa and had to often be home for the sale of our house/inspections. All of the house shopping took place in a span of only four business days from the day we accepted an offer on the house that we were selling to the day of writing an offer in Tuscaloosa. This made it easy to synchronize closings and the move. Caitlin and her husband have twins and one had to be admitted to Childrens hospital for a short time during this period. Still, Caitlin managed to handle everything there was no hand-off to an associate and we did not miss a beat.

In each and every way, Caitlin met and/or exceeded our expectations of a buyers agent. She is easy to talk to and to work with. She is fast and responsive to questions and requests. Communications were excellent. Caitlin was focused on each step between offer and closing. Caitlin has a good network of contacts and was key to securing contractor reviews of a couple of items identified via the home inspection where there was only a short window available. Caitlin is one of the top agents we have worked with over 30+ years. In my view she represents and delivers the service that a buyers agent should deliver. I believe this is due to her own high-standards, motivation, hands-on approach, and focus.
