Chris, a seller from Cullman, AL
Rhonda Hagemore represented the buyer when I sold my house. If this name or company pops up on a house youre selling, I would be more than extremely cautious. Her and her client showed up to my house a few days before closing to measure for a fence, completely fine. They arrived, did what they needed to do and then before leaving they had come to my door, knocked and had requested, more or less bribed, they move in a day before closing, on Sunday. They could tell I was hesitant with allowing this, however I said that should be okay as long as Im out. (I have the conversation recorded from my ring) I told them there may still be some things I have to come pick up Sunday and they were okay with that. Well, Saturday she shows up to my residence as I am moving and gets the key out of the lock box (from my understanding this is a normal thing for realtors to go ahead and get the keys early for exchange during closing). She proceeds to meet her client one road up, I could see them from my house, they sat in their vehicles and watched us move for about half an hour. In my opinion, I find that a bit sketchy and peculiar. Once they were done lurking, they drove by an additional time. I continued packing and took a load to my new buy, I unloaded everything and came back to my current house to load up more items. To my surprise this lady had given her buyer a key to the house and allowed her to move in on Saturday while my items were still in the house and while I had complete ownership completely disregarding the fact we had agreed they could on Sunday. Not one word was said nor did they ask if the could do this on Saturday. As I have said, be cautious when selling to someone represented by Rhonda Hagemore, she will allow them to move in when they please. Fast forward to closing, she shows up late along with her client. Additionally to her and her client being late, this realtor shows up to closing wearing her set of air pods. All around completely unprofessional as well as disrespectful. She then proceeds to make up this story about how her client is having to wait on movers to get moved. This is a straight up lie. I know this because I went to pick up my last load of belongings on Sunday, late afternoon, and saw a big uhaul with what appeared to be mostly everything moved in. That was fine. We agreed on that. Once again, a break in the agreement, the client had someone PAINTING the house. Keep in mind, this is before we even closed, this is still my home. I will be glad to provide the video proof to this verbal agreement of moving furniture into the house a day before closing. I just find it unbelievable that she would allow her client to move in when she wants and begin manipulating the house before it is even in her ownership, as well as have the audacity to try to say she hadnt moved in yet. Oh, she moved in plus more.
