I can't say enough good things about Kevin. There isn't space enough to do so here, so this won't do him justice - but I will do my best. Warm, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and amazing. That's Kevin. My husband and I were looking for our retirement spot (yippee!) and stumbled across a Fort Payne home listed on the internet. We knew nothing about this area or even the state (we were looking in MO and TN). The agent was on vacation, but he told me he would have a colleague contact me - which Kevin did, within about 10 minutes of me hanging up with Greg. We were at Ruby Falls enjoying some site seeing to try and cheer us up after stiking out in the Chattanooga area and had little time left for our house hunt. Kevin arranged a time convenient for us, we met at his office, and after meeting with him for a few minutes he drove us to what is now our new home. He gave us an extensive tour of Fort Payne and the surrounding area on the way to - and after looking at - the home. He's a Fort Payne native, and I'm pretty sure he knows everything about the town, it's history, and everyone who lives there. We had no realtor representing us and as a broker, Kevin could legally do only so much. We had never bought a home in AL, so we had to rely solely on the assistance Kevin provided. It was more than enough. Kevin walked us through the entire process, drafted all the paperwork, and brokered the deal. Within about two weeks, we were the proud owners of our new home. Kevin even walked us through getting the utilities switched over and the process for property taxes (very important stuff) AND offered to help if we needed it since we would be trying to do this from Northern VA and some things need to be done in person. He spent an enormous amount of time with us, explaining everything and helping us to set up what needed to be done for the sale. I am former military and moved A LOT over my career and dragged my native-Minnesotan husband with me. We have bought and sold several homes over those years. Of all of those transactions, this one was BY FAR the easiest and most pleasant, and Kevin is responsible for that. This was also the most critical home-buying experience for us since we plan to live in this home until health or other circumstances make it too difficult to do so (we're praying for at least 15 years!). We have never lived in one place for over five years. Finding our retirement spot was daunting, to say the least, as I'm sure it is for everyone. We are so blessed to have found this home and to be able to count Kevin as our new, true friend.

My family and I are from out of state, and we recently relocated to the Northeastern area of the great state of Alabama.
I worked with Mr. Kevin Burt about 6 years ago, thus the decision on a realtor was an easy one this time around as well.
