Linda seemed great at firstproactive about setting up appointments and letting us know about new listings. When offer after offer kept getting declined, we knew we needed to re-strategize and make our offers more marketable. We gave her the slightest criticism, asked if she could do more on the negotiations side of things, but instead of speaking to us about it and responding with helpful information or ideas, she unceremoniously canceled our contract without warning. Now that we have a new realtor, we can see clearly where Linda was lacking in negotiation skills; the difference is night and day. I suspect we werent making money for Linda fast enough, but she could have been more helpful to that end by giving us ideas and info on how to make our offers more appealing.

I was impressed with Linda Burton from the start! I was looking for a real estate agent who had a lot of knowledge of the local area and could effectively communicate to a first-time homebuyer all steps of the home buying process. She was that and more!

She took the time to find out the age of the heater, A/C, water heater, roof, etc. at each house and townhome, so I would be aware of anything that might need replaced within a few years of buying the home. I felt comfortable asking her questions about anything that I didn't understand. She knew how to negotiate a great price on the townhome I decided on. She really listened to not only what I was looking for, but also to what I wanted in a neighborhood.

She was always punctual, available to contact, knew what she was talking about and could recommend trusted local companies to do the home inspection.
