I don't know anyone in Florida and I went to Zillow to see agent reviews. I picked a few top rated agents/companies. I sent each agent the same messaging with what I'm looking for. Within minutes, all of them called me to ask what I was looking for. There is one property in particular I really liked and asked questions about it. I did not really feel any inclination to choose an agent.
On the second day of my search, Mary Bartos called me again and introduced me to Michelle who covers the Naples area. They already setup an appointment with the agent for the house I liked. Michelle had a video conference with me where she drove with the seller agent around the neighborhood, then showed me inside the house. I was amazed how quickly they made the appointment and the technology they use to help their clients. Michelle is so friendly and I immediately decided to work with her.
When I finally came to Naples, Michelle already prepared a list of houses and she numbered them according to the distance so we don't drive around in circles. When I went to see open houses myself without an agent, I did the ordering myself. Even for a handful of houses, it takes a lot of time to arrange. She prepared almost 30 houses for me.
Michelle picked us up from the hotel and drove to all the houses herself. She had to setup the GPS and answer my bombarding questions at the same time. She was so friendly and didn't get frustrated with us at all for asking so many questions. She read up on the houses and pointed out some pros and cons according to what we were looking for. When we were ready to make an offer, she helped us with the pricing. We are so happy with the final price and we love the house.
This is my vacation home and I was not able to be there for closing. Michelle did all the walk through and found a list of issues which have been addressed. Now that the house is closed and we have lived there for a few days, Michelle continues to help with any needs I have to be at the house if I needed someone.
