You cannot find a better agent than Mike Despard. He is knowledgeable, trust-worthy, friendly and easy to talk with. He made our buying experience so positive. If I could give him 10 houses, I would. nMy girlfriend and I had decided to move to the Big Island from the Bay area as part of our empty nest, life simplification plan (once we get our daughter into College in 2 years.) We decided to start the search early as we both are opinionated had some specific ideas in mind on what sort of property we wanted. We figured it would take some time to identify the right house at the right price. How wrong we were. nIt may have been dumb luck or perhaps a recognition of the great resource he is in the positive reviews I read, but we found Mike Despard as our representative and could not be any happier. Mike is an excellent listener and so knowledgeable. We gave him a difficult task of finding a house in one specific neighborhood where there were no more than 30-40 houses. In no time, Mike found us a pocket listing that was perfect and in our budget and it was in our preferred neighborhood. Amazing. I really expected to need the whole two years to find the right property. Finding the property is not where Mike really shines. It is the steps that follow where he demonstrates the value he brings as an agent. Mike shepherded us through the nervousness of negotiation, the elation of bid acceptance and the detailed list of tasks that must be completed to get the house through escrow. We were novices and Mike took such good care of us and represented our interests well. nI cannot say enough good things about our experience with Mike. If anything, I am understating his value and I heartily recommend him for your home buying selling needs
