We initially bought this plot of land in June of 2017, and were to build our dream retirement home there. Michael showed us so many properties that I cannot remember how many. After a blizzard of possibilities were considered, Deb and I chose this plot of land. Michael quickly navigated through closing the deal including a couple rounds of offers. He also recommended local financing folks who were helpful ... but Michael also gave us the idea of financing the land buy with a home equity loan, which we didn't think of originally. It turned out to be the best way to go, so we did it.
Then all of our children moved back to Upstate NY, much to our surprise. There are 3 grandchildren as well, so the move to Delaware, despite the beauty, beach, and advantages, did not feel right. Deb and I decided to retire to the Finger Lakes instead and have asked Michael to sell the land for us. I'm sure he'll get this done for us in short order.
We didn't know Michael initially, so we were cautious as we built a relationship with him. He sold us as the right agent for us because he's responsive (any time day or night, even on his wedding day), knowledgeable about the Suffolk County area, and well connected with the local community.
