We had the pleasure of working with Janie & Linda throughout the entire process of buying a new home that we successfully closed on in 2/2021. It was by far the best experience we've ever had working with real estate professionals.
They make the perfect team because each have their own unique strengths that compliment each other perfectly through different parts of the home search process. From the first time we met with them it was obvious that they have a passion for their careers. Their knowledge of the entire Roanoke area is incredibly strong and an extreme level of trust was built after the first time they showed us a home. While it seemed like a decent place to us, Janie was able to point out numerous flaws with the most major being evidence of water damage at one point in time that was not obvious to the naked eye until it was pointed out. The property instantly went from something we'd strongly consider to an absolute "no" thanks to them.
Another home that we went to see I loved so much, but they actually convinced me not to make an offer knowing that there were many things would become problems in the long run, like windows, layout of the master bedroom, and being by far the highest priced home in the neighborhood. It really would have hurt our value in the long run.
The reason I cite these examples is to highlight that neither Linda or Janie is out to make a quick commission. They have been doing this for a long time and don't need the money. There was more interest in ensuring that we would be happy with our decision and have considered all angles before jumping into a decision.
Working with Janie and Linda is such a unique experience. It has become so difficult to find honest & competent professionals to work with in every industry and field, but we hit the jackpot with Janie and Linda. Incredible strength in real estate and the Roanoke aside, they are two of the nicest, loving women I've ever met. I feel a strong responsibility to highly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home.
