We found a house that we liked online and immediately called a broker friend to ask how we should proceed. This was on a Sunday when the market was hot but we had no realtor. Our friend told us about Tobey and said he would reach out. Tobey contacted us immediately and helped us get a letter to the sellers realtor proving we had adequate funding to submit an offer. He understood our situation and negotiated our offer and counter offer on that home. We were outbid on that house but were so impressed with Tobey's diligence with the process that we retained him for the home we did buy. We had a incredibly difficult set of circumstances for our sale as we live out of state and the buyer had a difficult realtor and set of circumstances. Toby went above and beyond to make sure the many loose ends were dealt with including managing contractors and even the sellers lender. If I had a choice in the matter I would have given him his commission and the other realtor commission because he ended up doing both of there jobs, but he was willing did it to make sure our house closed quickly.
The process was difficult because of the other realtor, but Toby navigated it and made it as smooth as possible despite all the challenges. 2017
