We had our old house listed with a different realtor for over a year!! After many tears of not selling, A friend recommended Mike! Best. Decision. Ever. He had our house listed just a few short month and it SOLD. He posted on every social site possible, posted all over is own personal Facebook, reached out to others, and Im convinced he doesnt sleep EVER. Im a needy person, on average I texted him at least 5 times a day. He always responded quickly and never ever seem to be bothered (although, I knew he was lol) Mike also helped us purchase a home after we sold ours. We found Mike through a listing he had for sale. We were already 90% sure of the home we wanted ( one we found not the listing he had) but wanted to make 100% sure. We listed our home with Mike and had him as the realtor for our new home purchase. Attention to detail needs improving. The night he came over to list our home for sale we moved things around (the computer off the desk, stuff off the kitchen counters) and he used the pictures that looked cluttered. We felt that the communication wasn't there. We had to ask questions sometimes a couple times to get a response. Mike said he was waiting on the other realtor to respond but it would have been nice if he would have communicated that to us. I reminded him 3 weeks in advance we needed to have a final walk through with the builder and a week before I asked Mike if it was confirmed and he hadn't even set the final walk through up and we didn't get it at a convenient time because the builder was busy. He did give us a negotiated commission price because we were buying (we found the home) and selling with Mike. The day of closing he acted awkward and didn't really say much, it was almost like he was mad at us . After we sold our home and purchased the new one the only thing he really said was if you need referrals for services (plumber, fence, etc) let me know. Weird. nWe've talked to several people and we were shocked at how the process happened. We've sold 4 houses now over 23 years and this is the first time we've bought and sold with the same realtor and never received a gift. It isn't about that but nothing at all not even a card congratulating us. Everyone we've talked to said that is customary to get a gift from a realtor but all we got is him saying he could give us referrals for services. He made several thousand dollars for not doing a whole lot since we had already found the house. nMike is a nice guy and that is why we chose him but he needs to brush up on professionalism and communication. 2017
