I was a tenant in a home that was being sold by the owner. Katie Russ was the owner's realtor. I politely and quickly agreed to all requests to enter to the home for walk throughs, photos and showings. During this time a family member passed away and I requested that Ms. Russ give my family some space for the weekend of the funeral. Initially, Ms. Russ agreed but she proceeded to contact me three times over the course of the weekend, including a text message on the day of the funeral acknowledging that she knew it was the day of the funeral but she had a walk through request. When I told her I was upset by her actions, she only tried to justify her actions and never apologized for them. Maybe Ms. Russ does a fine job otherwise but her professionalism is severely lacking and I would certainly not want to do business with someone who treats others with such little respect. 2022
