Lindsey helped us find our new home AND sold our home and she knocked it out of the park with both roles. She is clearly knowledgeable about real estate, Gainesville, and how to navigate buying and selling a home depending on the current market. We were not in a rush to move and wanted to find a home that checked all the boxes for us. She was always available to show us potential homes and when we finally found the one we loved, she deftly guided us through the process to be the chosen contract for a fair price in a multiple offer situation. As our seller's agent, she worked hard to effectively market our house and then expertly walked us through the differences in the multiple offers (13!) we received so we could confidently decide which one worked best for us. She always responded quickly and clearly when we had questions. As an added bonus, she is caring and funny so we felt reassured by her ethics and have enjoyed a lot of laughs along the way.
Ok, I cannot recommend Lindsey Johnson enough! We were out of town purchasers, looking to buy an investment property in the Gainesville area, and Lindsey truly came through for us. She spent an entire Saturday in the fall, driving us from complex to complex, making sure we got a good feel of any and every place we had in mind as potential spots, even though we were not really in place to be purchasing at the time. But that up front work made the actual purchase, which happened many months later from afar, so much easier! She set up alerts for us in all the areas we liked, so that we could see in real time any new potential properties that came on the market. This allowed us to be one of the first on scene when a unit in our desired complex came available, so that even in the highly competitive market that Gainesville is, we were able to get our offer in asap. Lindsey not only advised us on the areas we were looking at, but also on the complexes themselves, looking into HOAs for us so we knew what we were getting into. She also offered guidance on what to offer, so that we were able to secure our unit even when multiple offers came in. She then took things a step further by recommending a top-of-her-game property manager to manage our new investment for us, so we can truly be passive investors from afar. And I can gladly say that as of today, just 1 month after we closed, our unit has a tenant living there with a long term lease secured. Love it!
