We had a property that one broker refused to list, that an appraiser once told us we could add 10,000 to the value of our property if we would 'Knock the shack down'. We had been assured that no bank would ever issue a mortgage on the house and that we should just 'strike a match and walk away' if we wanted to move. We've had a well known competing real estate agent look at the property, tell us what improvements we had to make and give us the name of a contractor to do it. One who promptly cheated us out of $6000.
Barbara was not only willing to list the property, she gave us a list price that was above what we expected, and then followed it up by getting us ten offers ABOVE that asking price in the first weekend. She went on to help us with permitting, inspections and every other issue that came up during the process. All the while being considerate of my aging, aching back.
For us the whole process was almost like divine intervention, a miracle. I just can't say enough about how well the whole process went under her guidance.
