We connected with Chad Nelson early in 2021 looking for a new home closer to our kids' school. This was the worst possible time to be buying a home given the market conditions, but Chad was super helpful and patient with us and did a great job of giving us realistic ideas about options and pricing and whatnot. He was a good sounding board when we toured homes. He was knowledgeable about things to watch out for. He was careful to not have us overpay, but still pushed to put us in position. We actually had an offer accepted we had to back out of, but he kept going with us and didn't get frustrated. He made sure we found a home that fit our family and made the transition smooth. He also went to bat for us when little issues with the house became known so that we were not stuck covering them all. I would highly recommend using him as a realtor in Central Wisconsin. Chad was excellent to work with as we bought our first home. Although we were looking out of his local area, he was willing to get up and go when we wanted to view homes with short notice. He was knowledgeable about different features of the homes such as furnaces, water heaters, repairs that would be needed or could be put off, etc. He was always quick to answer questions, worked with us on negotiations, gave his honest opinion if we were getting a good deal, and made sure we knew exactly what was being said in the paperwork so there were no misunderstandings.
