Rhonda was such a gem for helping me purchase my first home! Rhonda had helped a few of my friends find their first homes as well. She walked through every step with me and answered any question I had. She was always responsive to texts or emails. She went above and beyond as well, making sure my first home was perfect when I moved in. I was going out of town right after I received the keys, and the yard was overgrown, so she went over herself to take care of it while I was on vacation. I worked with Rhonda for maybe 3 weeks. She showed me 5 properties. I did not know the Vancouver, WA market well, and I impulsively made an offer that later felt was overpriced. Within 36 hours of making the offer I tried to rescind but she pressured me even more to go through with the inspection, which I did at my cost. After driving the area I found a large homeless camp within 1/4 mile of the property, which confirmed my gut feeling that it wasn't the right property for me. After rescinding, she wrote me saying that she didn't believe I was ready to buy and wouldn't represent me anymore. This is psychologically abusive behavior. I would not be putting myself through the house search and pre-approval process if I wasn't serious/ready to buy. She spent a fair time bragging about her client with a 1.4 million budget who had rescinded two offers but she was still representing them. So if you have 500k or less dont expect her to continue to represent you if you have second thoughts about a property. Do not recommend. 2022

Rhonda is fantastic- not only is she responsive to my multiple texts/emails about properties, but she is extremely knowledgeable about Portland, properties, various home characteristics (foundation material, electric, etc etc). Her knowledge helped guide me to a quality home. Additionally, her guidance for making a strong offer in a tough market was stellar. If youre looking to buy a home, you need Rhonda! Rhonda was so great during our buying process. We went through THREE contracts and negotiations before we were successful in purchasing our home. Rhonda worked diligently on each one and never gave up in helping us. She was especially invaluable in the closing process, handling every little detail as we were located in Seattle and couldn't be available for important inspections / meetings.
