We had the incredibly difficult task to sell a house in Boca Raton, Florida, with two out of the three owners living in other parts of the country. The house, originally owned by our mother had been essentially unoccupied for the past 7 years. The four bedroom house was full of furniture and belongings. We planned a five day trip to Florida to clear out the entire house. It was an listed by AJ and we had an offer on the house. After accepting the offer the buyer backed out of the deal. Where do I even start? AJ helped us close on our house on April 9th of this year, after a 4 month grueling closing process and a pandemic.
He was extremely patient and kind throughout the entire process. When we first started looking at the end of November he had a cruise scheduled that was gifted to him as an engagement celebration. Although he was technically not supposed to have cell service, he was still able to be extremely responsive and attentive throughout his whole vacation. He even sent out an offer for us while at sea. When we finally found our home at the beginning of December I had a tough schedule to say the least.
I was working from 8AM until 1AM, but AJ was so flexible that he literally showed us the house at 2AM! He was able to not only negotiate under asking but a healthy credit to finish some projects as well. His closing gift was not only far too generous, but he also included some toilet paper for the new house during this pandemic #AJfortheW.
