Alan continues to be a rockstar! This was our second time working with Alan to buy a house and he did not disappoint. Even though our timeline to purchase was somewhat rushed, Alan was accommodating and scheduled a half dozen viewings in one day. When we were deliberating on whether to make an offer, Alan was available and responsive to help us process the information to make a decision. When we did make an offer, Alan's experience really came into play. At times it seems he has a relationship with all the agents in DC, and knew how to strategically make an offer to get us the best deal. Furthermore, in three different scenarios, he was the sole reason for saving money. Alan successfully negotiated with the seller to get $4k in credit to us, when we weren't expecting any at all. Also, he saved us over $1k in closing costs in title insurance, for doing a little bit of work on his end. I met Alan at an open house -- thank heavens I went with my gut instinct and started working with him. I had a slow timeline at first, mostly browsing open houses, but then the timeline whipped up fast when I decided to buy. I met Alan when wandering through an open house. I was not yet ready to buy, nor did I really know what I wanted. Alan is a great listener. He paid attention to what lifestyle issues were important to me, and curated a search list that was spot on.
