Collado Real Estate represented the seller when I was looking for a condo in New Smyrna Beach. They were reluctant to release information about the condo that Florida law requires them to including an approval letter from the Condo Association included in the Condo Declarations. They supported the seller who said condo association approval was not necessary and who also misinformed me about the quality of the house. I was given a termite inspection report by the seller that was inaccurate as the condo did have live termites in the attic. Appropriate termite treatment was done by Imperial Pest Prevention of Daytona Beach immediately after I purchased the condo. Agent Joy had blocked the attic door during our inspection with her car and then Agent Joy went so far as to refuse to let us do a final walk through of the house prior to closing. I had to hire an attorney to get me back into the house. The seller claimed their were no roof problems but again this was false information. The roof had been repaired in several areas and there was prior water damage on the ceiling of the bedroom closet. I have an inspection Report from Dream Home Inspections a licensed inspection firm in Port Orange, including pictures. The closing was postponed three times because of these problems. Also a crystal vase was removed after the final walk through and prior to closing and Pat was supposed to send me a letter from the seller regarding this matter. She never did what she promised. I have witnesses, an attorney, text messages and e-mails to substantiate everything I have just said. I have been honest with my comments. 2016
