We were on a hunt for a house for a year and a half before we got to ours, and during these times, he has been patient, attentive and honest with us. We were looking for a fixer-upper house and we have communicated with Jack about our hard-limits and financial boundaries, with these in mind Jack has been nothing but helpful. Great job on marketing. The pictures and videos of the home were first rate. Glad that he used a professional photographer. Showed the house in the best light. Felt that Jack gave me good information and advice in a market that seemed to be changing on a near daily basis. We hit the jackpot when we found Jack online. When we called him from out of state, he quickly set up an appointment then sent us relevant information about the area where we were house searching, which was Reno and Carson City. He patiently took us around for several days, answered all of our questions, gave us great advice and helped us find the perfect home. Living in Texas, I have been managing my friends rental home (it was to be their retirement home until they changed their plans) in North Reno for about 10 years, while he is on an Army base in Germany. As a mental health professional, he is in a high stress position, and adding the selling process would have been hard on him and his wife, so I offered to handle the entire transaction for them. I researched online, read literally hundreds of reviews, and spoke with many candidates. I flew up and met with the finalists, and chose Jack.

Jack was far and away the best realtor I have worked with. He was prepared from our initial meeting with a book he had put together with comps and a breakdown of costs in seller's sheets (closing costs, realtor fees, etc.) so I could see what I would walk away with different sell prices - super helpful and it turned out to be highly accurate. He was responsive, and his assistant Kirk was also extremely helpful and responsive. He hired a professional photographer, took care of posting in multiple places. He also has a great handyman that took care of a bunch of repairs before we put it on the market, and paid for it out of his fees. This was fantastic. He also took care of a fireplace repair requested by the buyer after the offer was made and paid for that out of his pocket as well. He sat with me at our signing and helped walk me through it and answered any questions I had. Just an all around great experience and I highly recommend him! 2018

Jack was great and he handled a lot of the steps himself. Sometimes when you have a highly rated real estate agent you deal with someone else on their team most of the time. Jack was there through every step and it was helpful as we were out of state. Our builder was less than flexible with certain steps, which considering they are a national builder, you would have thought they would know how to work with out of towners. Luckily, we had Jack. He visited our house for progress updates, provided insight and knowledge, helped us find referrals for daycare/landscaping/other needs, and worked behind the scenes when our builder delayed us with no answers. He got us answers and he participated in conversations to help us throughout the process. We would highly recommend him to anyone, but especially out of towners.

If you are looking for a TOP-NOTCH realty experience select Jack and Melody Cote! Their knowledge of the area is extremely impressive and was critical to us as we were moving from out of state. After evaluating realtors in the area via the Internet, we selected Jack and Melody and reached out to them. They got back to us so quickly and listened to what we wanted in a home and town. Then they sent us information to prepare for our trip to the area. Jack picked us up at our hotel for our house hunting trips, provided us with a notebook containing listings and tons of important information about the area, then made sure we had water and snacks, and we began our house hunting travels. Once we got to houses in the notebook, Jack made sure we knew about proper site orientation for a home relative to how we wanted to use our home. He knew we wanted to entertain in the evenings and so suggested which way the back of the house should face. Jack is never pushy.
