Im a first-time home buyer and a third-time home shopper. Every time Id get started, things just didnt feel right. I'm a first-time home buyer living in California and have been looking for a house in Vancouver, Washington, for months. I called Megan about a house she was listing, but the house wasn't what I was looking for, so I mentioned that I was in a contract for an estate sale in probate and selling in "as-is" condition. After the inspection, my counteroffer would be too low to accept, so I canceled the contract, but I wanted that house.
Megan then called the listing agent for the house in probate and got my counteroffer accepted within the hour! She included cleaning the crawl space for me, which was not part of the contract.
