We are a family with young kids, and we were beginning to run out of room. Driving through my dads neighborhood one day, we noticed that a house was up for sale. On a whim, we called the phone number on the sign and Allen gave us a viewing. The fates were smiling upon as the house was exactly what we were looking for! To be sure though, we decided to see a few more houses.
Allen put us in touch with his teammate and buyer agent, Curtis. Allen and Curtis had been both hit by a truck while walking just a day before we met Curtis. Bruised and in a bit of pain, Curtis showed us the house again and several others over the following week. We did shop other agents who were referred to us by family and friends at the time, but we decided to stay with Curtis. He was upfront, knowledgeable and went above and beyond. He was great about bringing to our attention houses we might be interested in. On one showing, the listing wasnt set to go live until later that evening, but Curtis was able to get us in that same afternoon.
After some discussion with Curtis, we realized that we were going to have to make a contingent offer - meaning that our offer on the new house was contingent on our selling our current house. We needed to sell our house quickly and we needed to contract with a sellers agent. Choosing Allen was a no brainer. We were impressed with Allens initiative and effort, knowledge, and social media and advertising outreach. He was always reachable by phone, text, or email to answer any questions.
While my family and I worked feverishly to ready the house with new exterior paint, landscaping and other odds and ends, Allen drummed up interest for our home. Regarding the listing, I was particularly impressed with Allens writing ability. Not only are his emails well written but he does an excellent job with the overview and descriptions, hitting all the homes important and unique details. I was also impressed that Allen hires professional photographers. They took high-quality interior and exterior shots and also drone shots which I think help set the listings apart. All of the hard work paid off. Our listing went live on a Thursday evening and by Friday we had about 10 viewings scheduled, and several offers had already come in, one of which we accepted.
The rest of the home buying and selling process for us was simple and without problem thanks to the hard work that Allen and Curtis put in behind the scenes.
