My parents moved to Reston when I was in the third grade, and I have been here since then. When I was little, I always remembered Roxanne as the nice lady who dropped pumpkins off every year in the fall and gave us a mini American flag for the Fourth of July. Little did I know that this nice lady would later be my saving grace when it came to buying my first home. Flashing forward more than decade, I found myself completely overwhelmed with the idea of buying a home in the midst of a pandemic and seller's market. I didn't know where to start, and I didn't even know if I was ready to buy a home yet; I kept going back and forth between wanting to put an offer down immediately and waiting until I had a better idea of my preferences. Throughout this entire process (which took about four months), Roxanne was extremely patient, kind, caring, professional, and responsive. Even though we had to submit offers on the same day as the open house given the aggressive seller's market, she took a lot of time to explain the paperwork and the process; I did not feel rushed! Her understanding of which contingencies I needed to waive and which I should keep really shed light into her deep expertise of the real estate market in this area. Additionally, I was also getting priced out of the market, and I was worried we would not find a move-in ready townhouse that fit within my budget. In the end, she found an unlisted, townhouse through her network. I absolutely love it. It was more than move-in ready and immaculate. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and I have a nice view in front and the back. It also checked the boxes for all my requirements. If she did not find this property, then there would have been a good chance I would not have been a competitive buyer in the spring market. Even after buying the townhouse, Roxanne has been available to answer any questions I've had, and she's even helping me find someone to take over my lease for the condo I was previously renting. I cannot thank her enough! If you are looking for a compassionate, patient, and experienced real estate agent, then look no further! I cannot recommend Roxanne enough and plan to reach out to her for all my future real estate needs.

I rarely write reviews, because I seldom feel compelled or inspired to post one. However my experience with Roxanne Watts of Caldwell Banker, who recently helped me purchase a house, was just too exceptional to stay untold. I'm not an easy client, but Roxanne spent more than 10 months working with me, showing me at least a few dozen homes, negotiating several offers (two even reached sales agreement but didn't close), all during the 2020 pandemic with me living a thousand miles away. In the end she brought to me a great, unlisted property sourced from her own network (showing the power of her 20+ years of local real estate experience) that met my demanding criteria, all for a great price! On top of all this, she recently stepped in to help me resolve an issue with the settlement agent with diplomacy and efficacy. Roxanne is an exceptional real estate agent that I would recommend wholeheartedly.
