We were looking to buy a condo in OC, Maryland and so reached out to Dave Whittington to represent us as the buyers agent and help us with the search. We selected Dave based on the number of positive reviews he received. Dave set us up with access to this portal and kept us informed of the inventory.
Each week, we started to narrow down on our exact wants and Dave would tune the search to tailor to our criteria. 3 or 4 weeks into the search, one Saturday, we saw a property that we absolutely liked. Only problem is, it was not yet a open listing ( rather coming on the market soon..). We called Dave at 7:30 AM to inform him that this was the unit we were interested in and ask for this advice. He told us to be ready to act immediately and if possible get ready to put in a strong offer. He was also going to arrange for a virtual tour of the property by getting in touch with the selling agent (property is not yet an open listing), going down to the property and see he could get into the unit and do a face time or a video call.
With Dave's help, we actually ended up putting together an offer within an hour and Dave submitted the offer to the sellers. We had to drive down to OC the same noon as the seller was not comfortable considering the offer without the buyers physically seeing the property.
