Pat went way above and beyond to sell my parent's home as I lived out of state. The sale was an estate with legal complexities, she assisted every step of the way. She and her business partner Eleanor made sure they were always present when the home was being shown, this ensured energy and knowledge to realtors and potential buyers. My husband and I cant say enough wonderful things about Pat and Elinore of Douglas Eliman who helped us sell our house.
Our daughter and son in law recommend Pat and Elinore to us after using them to sell their apartment and buy their house. They told us how pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive Pat and Elinore were and assured us that no one would work harder to sell our house quickly and for the highest price possible.
During our initial meeting, Pat and Elinore impressed us with their knowledge of the real estate industry in general, as well as our local housing market. They brought detailed reports and were ready to discuss what to expect regarding price and timeframes.
We agreed to list our house with them and then watched as Pat and Elinore took care of everything. Their professional photographer created beautiful pictures and a video emphasizing all the positive features of our home. They gathered all relevant information about our house and neighborhood and wrote a wonderful description emphasizing every desirable feature. They suggested listing the house just before spring to limit competition with other similar houses. They recommended a listing price which would get us the highest price possible without turning away interested buyers. Then they advertised and hosted open houses every weekend until we had an accepted offer, only one month after listing the property.
After an initial offer was made, Pat and Elinore helped us negotiate a higher price we were happy with. After the contract was signed, Pat and Elinore had a great working relationship with our buyers broker. They were always available to help with anything we needed, including getting up to date information on every step of the process until our buyers were ready to close. Our sale closed only two months after the contract signing.
Throughout the entire process, Pat and Elinore were a pleasure to deal with. They were responsive whenever we reached out to them for anything and went out of their way to make things simple and stress free for us.
Based on our experience, we wholeheartedly recommend Pat and Elinore to anyone buying or selling a home.
