Julie Grady fulfills every criterion that could be wished for in a realtor. As first time buyers at an advanced age we were anxious and concerned about so many issues as we first set out on our quest to find a new home in Maine, during one of the most difficult times for home-buying in our countrys history.

Julies calm and professional manner put us immediately at ease. She listens carefully and seems to understand not only what her clients might say and ask, but, in addition, she intuits questions they might not have thought of themselves.

Julie is fully informed at all times of properties that might fit the clients specifications, and never fails to call attention to especially attractive prospects. As we developed our own sense of what we wanted, we moved from seeking out condominiums to searching for small homes. Julie was unfailingly patient with our evolving views of the dwelling we were seeking, always guiding us gently, while keeping in mind firm views we expressed.

During the past year, when Covid precautions were in place, Julie guided us through our viewing trips from Massachusetts to Maine, often going out of her way to research and/or view places we thought we might like to let us know additional details that may have influenced our views. She saved us several unnecessary trips, yet also reassured us of the importance of other trips.

Excellent communication is Julies forte. Each email, text, or call was promptly and fully addressed. Sometimes replies would come through after traditional work hours, before traditional work hours, or on weekends. Whatever we had to ask, Julie was there with a prompt, helpful and reassuring response.

As we searched and searched for just the right place, Julie always let us view a new possibility with little comment, listened to what we had to say, added a few observations and asked questions that helped us sort out our viewpoints. We always felt like she was a complete and trusted ally.

Once we found just the right place, she helped us with shaping our offer, and she sounded as excited as we were when she called to tell us our bid had been accepted.

Following the acceptance, Julie spent many hours going to the town hall in the city we were buying to check on permits the seller needed to obtain, checking back with the sellers realtor with questions we had, and arranging for and attending the home inspection.

Even after the signing which was pleasant and went off without a hitch Julie was there to recommend various services we were seeking out.

We cannot praise highly enough the fine work and professionalism of Julie Grady.
