We put our town-home on the market in summer 2017 with a known and a famous real estate company in the Frederick area. We had worst experience dealing with unresponsiveness and disrespect. We took the listing off in July. We did our due diligence, searched and interviewed many realtors and zeroed on Welcome Home Realty Group. Our listing agent was Jennifer Burns. We started working with her in late October and put the property up on Market on November 17th. The photography of the whole townhome was on point, neat and highly effective when it came to generating interest in the market. We got an offer on the first day. However, it fell apart on 11th day due to the buyer backing out. However, we were extremely optimistic that the town-home would sell. After the fall out, Jennifer and the whole Welcome Home Realty group were extremely responsive and were spot on with communication. We had another offer on the table on December 15th and it was a solid one. Throughout this process, Jennifer was there with us till the day when we were on the settlement table. She not only got our town home sold within 30 days of the listed date, but also got us more than the listed price. This was like an icing on the cake. n There are real estate brokers out there who think they are entitled for high commission fees just because of the name fame their respective companies carry. The marketing they do is pathetic and have a million dollar attitude, just because they sell million dollar homes. However, at Welcome Home, neither did I see that attitude or that entitlement. They are a bunch of closely knit realtors who listen to their clients, work with them throughout the process and make sure their voices are heard.
