She even stood outside and listened to highway traffic to assess the noise level at one particular house. After purchasing our home, they continued their contact, support, and camaraderie, becoming friends instead of business associates. Over the next 15 years, they became involved in several aspects of our lives via constant invitations to special events, emails, newsletters, texts, and drive-bys to drop off gifts. When it came time to sell our home, the market became uncertain and we knew who we could turn to for professional advice. Not only did the McArtors deliver what they said they would deliver, but they also walked, pushed, and politely prodded us through the process which produced better results than expected in a short amount of time! We never thought that we'd make life-long friends out of the original business transaction, but they made us feel comfortable along the way and what developed has been priceless. Originally, I was going to take the chance of not putting an offer in on my current condo knowing how weird this real estate market has been over the past year. However, I took the plunge and made an offer site unseen. Most of the initial items from the offer to home inspection, I had Natalie/Curt along side guiding me through on my 1st home purchase. We bought our house with the McArtor's when we moved into NOVA from overseas. They were recommended to us by friends in the State Dept. They made buying our house as painless as possible back in 2014 and selling it this year a lot above asking! They are always available with the name of someone if you need something repaired or replaced. They always have an excellent recommendation. I never felt like I was bothering them, even years after we bought our house, they always got back to us quickly. They would stop by the house with fun little gifts a few times a year, they hold seasonal events like giving away pumpkins before Halloween and pie at Thanksgiving.
