Bottom lineI wouldnt hesitate to work with Bill again. We have bought/sold 12 times in 3 states and there are only 3 realtors we have used twice. There are only two I would work with a third time, Bill and a realtor in NY State. There are realtors who say they can and will spout all kinds of BS, but there arent many who can, Bill can, and Bill does.
What does Bill offer? Experience and polish, a full marketing plan (right down to which listing pictures were viewed the most), advice on listing price based on your property and valid comps, knowledge of the local market, responses to your calls same day and often within moments and he touches base at least once a week.
Bill tops everything off with a thorough knowledge of the area. In fact Im convinced if Bill hasnt bought/sold a property with someone in your family, he coached them in basketball.
You might be saying to yourself but those are standard things for ant realtor. You are correct but we have dealt with realtors who had a cozy relationship with their favorite mortgage broker, ones who couldnt tell us the average time to closing, ones who gave us comps that were not realistic (3 br/1ba vs our 4br/2.5ba). One realtor suggested we list at $450 but be prepared to drop. Ok listing price is just a starting point, but Bill suggested $495 and we sold for $506. Even with equivalent offers, we made $40 more by working with Bill. Days on market: 4, time to closing 4 weeks.
