We interviewed several realtors before starting searching for homes, and after meeting Berni we knew she was it. She came well prepared, asked a lot of good questions, and really felt she had our interests at heart. She was great about scheduling and showing us around to various homes and helping identify features and aspects of the home we were not aware of as first time buyers (types of wiring, construction material, etc). Once we found the house we wanted, Berni worked quickly to make the offer and start phase two of the process.
Where Berni really shined was during the time between our offer being accepted and closing. She was on top of every detail and help with home inspections and especially making sure our mortgage documentation was on-time which led to a smooth closing. Her efforts with our mortgage lender (who was seemingly unorganized and not fully communicative) to make sure every document was finished saved us from having a potentially disastrous and stressful closing.
