I wanted to buy my first home and team Dowlen made that a reality! I had no clue how the process would go down. After contacting some Realtors when I first arrived in Las Vegas, I quickly became frustrated with the search. Free sites (Zillow, Trulia, etc.) were often outdated, and I honestly hated the automated search listings flooding my email by other agents. I don't even remember how Chris and I started communicating, but I'm glad it happened. I think Chris actually called me, perhaps from a Zillow request I submitted online. I was looking for a negotiator to help me get a deal, and he definitely fit the bill. He was confident, motivated, and proactive and didn't make me feel like an idiot just because he is the professional in this arena.

Chris was willing to meet me at every home I wanted to see. He was always punctual and ready with the data, kind to my wife and remembered the names of my kids. When Chris couldn't make it, Pam was right there ready to help out. She was a joy to work with as well! I was looking on the opposite side of Vegas from where Chris worked, but he still made it out for any showing despite commutes. Chris is completely dependable, knowledgeable, and pointed out good and bad things about each home I considered to help me learn to evaluate each house.

Since it was my first home purchase, Chris explained in detail the entire process to my wife and me. While it was a little daunting, he was able to answer all my questions to put me at ease, and promised to be there the whole way. After that, I started making offers.

I had my opinion about what a house was worth, how much I would pay for each one i considered. Chris let me offer as low as I wanted even if it was probably unreasonable in his opinion. He showed me that he was supportive and on my side. I ended up buying a home for $17k under listed price in a sellers market, that my wife absolutely loves! That's a win!
