I had just decided to retire for health reasons, and we would need to sell our home to downsize both space and expenditures. It was in the middle of winter, not the ideal time to sell a 4 bedroom house with an office/den, morning room and full size basement.
We decided to be somewhat aggressive on our pricing, and Sandy, our realtor was blunt honest as to where the price-point would be, even though it meant us having to cough-up some money, never mind even trying to break-even.
I cannot adequately describe how valuable her honesty was in helping us position our house. Along with good advice on balancing our living in the house still while presenting it to potential buyers!
When we receive a couple of low offers, but especially when we received the offer from the eventual buyers, she guided us each step of the way. Same after inspection, and then preparing for closing.
Her final touch was to reserve a prime parking spot at the realty office where we had our close (at the agency where she works)! Class act all the way!!
