My wife and I had been trying to purchase a home for 14 months unsuccessfully. Home prices were rapidly increasing, people were waiting in line for home viewings and we were constantly being outbid. It was disappointing and we had almost given up hope. However, we decided to continue to pray, trust the Lord and NOT give up hope.
Around that time the contract we were locked into with our realtor had expired. Then a good friend from church recommended Gary Mooers. From the first meeting it was obvious to us that Gary was the guy we wanted to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional.
Long story short; we moved into our new home less than 3 months later. Gary was resourceful and had a lot of great ideas to help get us through the process of buying a home.
A couple weeks into escrow our financing was denied due to the appraisal, which came back unrealistically low. Gary did his best, and even wrote a letter, to get the appraiser to update it with current comps, but they would not. Because we were now unable to show proof of approved financing, we were on the verge of falling out of escrow and losing this deal. Gary put us in touch with another mortgage company. In the meantime, he was able to get the sellers and their agent to hold off on canceling. Pretty amazing. The mortgage company he recommended got us approved in 22 days! The Lord had answered our prayers!!!
A month after we had moved in, an issue came up relating to our new home. It was something I did not understand and it was a little stressful. So I called Gary and unknowingly got him while he was on vacation. I was surprised he answered. He asked me a few questions and then we hung up. A couple hours later he called back and the issue was resolved.
From the beginning to the final signature, Gary was there to help. If we called and got his voice-mail, he would always return the call.
