We own a business so the mortgage process wasn't easy. We expressed our irritation with the low amounts banks gave us on pre-approvals. Heather gave us a gentleman's name that could help us. Not only did he, but he also paid all our closing costs! This also opened a whole new level of homes.
THE PURCHASE: Heather was able to set up several viewings in one afternoon to accommodate our busy schedule. After every showing she would get our feedback and adjust what we were looking for. Not only that, she would communicate with her coworkers and find the best matches. It was because of this we were able to find our dream house. It was being remodeled and wasn't listed, but she was able to get us in to see it. There were several roadblocks that were out of our control and Heather did everything to stay on top of it, even when it was out of her control. The process is complex, but she would always stop to explain it to us. With all the safeguards put in place since the recession, there were times we wondered if it would happen at all. Heather was always there to help us understand what is "normal" in the process and to help keep us moving forward. I know that it couldn't have been easy on her and like I said she was with us for the good and bad.
THE SALE: Heather was also the one who sold our home. She helped us get the house ready, listing details, and again explain the process. From the time our house listed it only took 24 hours to have 8 offers. She went through each offer and explained the pros and cons. One of the offers was from a person she also represented.She, first and foremost, made sure we knew that if we were uncomfortable with her representing them also we could object. Although it sounds odd, for her to represent both sides, she handled the situation with the utmost professionalism. She gave us the information to review all the offers and decide. Even if her buyer wasn't it.
We will wholeheartedly recommend Heather Robison to anyone that will listen. We cannot express our gratitude enough for all that Heather Robison, Heather Schaller, and ReMax Ability Plus did for us.
