We cannot say enough good things about Chris Sanders. As first time home buyers, we were hesitant throughout the entire process but Chris reassured us at every step along the way. Dealing with Chris is like working with a close friend or family member, he had our best interests at heart the entirety of the process. Chris was patient with us when it felt like we would never find a home within our budget, there was never any ounce of pressure. At every house we went to see, he would walk through it with us and point out areas of concern or bonus features we should pay attention to (he even noted that the windows of the house were new which wasn't mentioned in the listing). Our experience with Chris Sanders was wonderful. We listed our home during the pandemic and were unsure of what to expect. I mentioned to a group of friends that I was thinking it was time to buy a place. My friend, Angela, told me she had the perfect agent for me and gave me Chris' contact information. I made an appointment and we met at his office (pre-corona). I instantly liked Chris' vibe and personality. We got on so well at our initial meeting, I felt no need to look for another agent.
As a single woman, I really relied on Chris' gut feeling for a neighborhood especially with regards to my safety. I trusted him implicitly not to tell me what to do, but to give me ideas on how to assess my comfort with an area. Likewise, he helped me keep my original description of what I was looking for at the forefront. When I was considering settling for a "good enough" property, he talked it through with me and I went home and thought through our conversation while he pulled comps. Chris is incredibly patient. When I first met him, I explained that I wanted to get a sense of what was out there, but that I had to wait for my current house to sell before I seriously started looking. Little did we know that would take two years. In that time, Chris continued to send me listings and fielded my questions immediately even though we both knew it would be an indefinite time until we could start actively looking at properties. Almost as soon as we started visiting properties, the Coronavirus reared its ugly little head and we had to deal with an all new set of challenges. Chris handled that beautifully as well and I'm so glad he was my agent through all of it.
Chris is a genuinely good guy and it shows in everything he does. I will absolutely be recommending him when friends or coworkers are looking for an agent.
