Finding land to build a home in Colorado was much more challenging than I expected. There seems to be thousands of issues that are inter-dependent upon each other county codes, city codes, Septic codes, Wells, HOAs, easement, access, feasibility, buildability, wild life, wild fires, drought, insurability, and home designs.
