Let me tell you about Shelly, "Shelly is awesome". She went above and beyond what a relator would do, what a stranger would do. She was like a family member to us. When I decided to put my house up for sale and move to an apartment, I inquired of others as to who I should choose as a realtor. The most recommendations I got were for Shelly Crane. I was told she was good at knowing and understanding the market, pricing the house to sell, working hard to get it done. I found all that to be true and more. After I called her, she met with me in a matter of hours, and had already found information on my house and on comparable properties that had sold. She came with forms for the information I needed to give and walked me through how to complete them and was prepared to move ahead as soon as I had done that. I was impressed from the beginning. She got it listed the next day. I immediately started getting calls from the automated service she uses to schedule appointments for viewing the property (I loved that service). The house went on the market on a Friday morning and we had an offer at the listed price by Saturday afternoon. Shelly helped us sell our mothers home, which was really nice home in a smaller community so it took a while to find the right buyer. My mothers neighbor whom runs a bank told me about Shelly he said "he is knowledgable, aggressive and honest". The first thing she did was gave us sales comparisons on our home and we found out that we could list it for what Dickinson County had the home on the tax roll but it would probably not sell. We listed the house at an aggressive price, but one that Shelly thought would move the house. Shelly also helped us to clean the house out of personal items, gave us direction on painting, doing other repairs. She also told us if it does not sell before the taxes come out I will go to Dickerson County and protest their value, she did this and got the house value lowered 67 thousand dollars. This lowered our tax burden and also helped new buyers accept what they would pay in taxes. I only wish I would have called her 10 years ago on the crazy tax assessment number! I would use Shelly again in fact she is looking for another home for us to buy. 2020
