After serving in the Army in Vietnam, where I received 4 Purple Hearts and 1 Silver Star, I went to work with my father-in-law in the remodeling industry. We did siding, decks, window replacements, kitchen bath and basement remodeling. additions, and built a couple of houses. We got into some solar heating and green house rooms.

During that time, we had 2 children and started getting involved with a church. I became a Christian in 1980 and thought that I had it made. Then the banking and housing crash came and I had to file bankruptcy and start over. I continued to do remodeling through 2011 when I had a heart issue that kept me from doing the physical work any more.
I decided to become a licensed home inspector in Illinois. After a few years, climbing on roofs and in attics and basements, I needed something else that did not require much physical labor. I got my real estate license first in Wisconsin and Illinois and went to work at a ReMax agency.

During covid we moved to Alabama where I got licensed in real estate, and went to work here. I have worked with several buyers and sellers in luxury homes, condos, mid-priced homes, mobile homes, and bank foreclosures. I have worked with veterans and their VA loans, out of state buyers, and first time home buyers. All this is to say, "I am more than just a Real Estate Agent".

I have been trained in target marketing to find the best qualified buyer that is willing to pay the highest fair market price for a specific home. I know how to find the perfect home for a client that is off market or pre-listed home to eliminate the competition.
