Ty graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles for 12 years to pursue his dreams of writing and acting but was brought back home to Birmingham by the "soul and character of the people." He was quickly embraced upon returning home and was named one of Birmingham Magazine's "Birmingham Beautiful" and one of About Town Magazine's "Man About Town." He is still very active in the Film/TV industry and can be seen in numerous movies, TV shows/commercials and local theatrical productions. Ty feels truly fortunate to be able to blend his passion of assisting others pursuit of their life goals and aspirations while still having the ability to pursue his love of acting and storytelling.

Ty's hobbies include Alabama Football, Los Angeles Laker Basketball, anything outdoors, working out, boxing, guitar and travel. He has two dogs, Laker and Jolene, whose multiple cross country trips make them the most loving travel companions a guy can have.
