Smith obtained her license in 2018 and has an extensive background in Marketing, Advertising and prior experience in Technical Business Analytics. Prior to her career in real estate she worked at the Rome News Tribune and was an IT Specialist at GEO Specialty Chemicals in Cedartown, GA.

Smith is part of a family of several entrepreneurs. Her grandfather George Murray operated the Rome Shoe Hospital which made him one of the first African Americans to manage a business on Broad Street. In the mid1980s her uncle Joe Murray took over the business and transition to which is now known as Blue Ribbon Shoe Hospital.

Smith is a firm believer in giving back, volunteering with several non-profits in the community and encouraging others to get involved; aligning everything she does with her spiritual affirmations. She is a member of the Greater Rome Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce.

She is a mother of three children: Darius , Timothy III, and Timara Smith who attend Morehouse College, Darlington School and St. Mary's Catholic School. They are very much a sports family involved in football, baseball and volleyball.
