My name is Marie Vinson born Marie Louise Todd. My parents moved from Jacksonville Beach to Baker County Florida when my Dad ended his term in the US Navy. I am the oldest of six siblings four boys and two girls .I graduated Baker County High and started my own little family .Four children and one divorce later I found myself in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, FL raising my little ones. Wanting more of the small town atmosphere that I was used to but wanting to remain close to my job at Washington Mutual Bank ( which became JP Morgan Chase ) We moved to Orange Park , Fl and have been here ever since . (About 14 years)
My previous life
I started working for Homeside lending, which became WAMU , then Chase . I started off in collections and quickly worked my way up to a mortgage processor / Jr underwriter. I was asked to be a lead and started in Management switching gears to close the circle in my career and managed a team of fourteen in the default world.
I have always been fascinated with the buyer and selling process of homes. As a processor , unlike most of my coworkers , I became personally involved and felt like I was part of the buying and selling process.
My life today
After leaving Chase I decided , with encouragement from friends and family to broaden my net , so to speak, and start doing what I love and that is helping people find their home , sell their home and help people make educated decisions with my knowledge and experience and their wants and needs . I am all over town showing and listing homes in Baker County , Clay County and Duval .
