Warrior is a small town in Jefferson County, Alabama, with a population of approximately 3,300 people. The town is named after the nearby Black Warrior River and is located 20 miles north of Birmingham.

The town has a rich history, dating back to the early 19th century when it was first settled as a farming community. During the Civil War, the town was burned down by Union troops, but it was quickly rebuilt in the years following the war.

Today, the town is known for its small-town charm, friendly residents, and outdoor recreational opportunities. The town is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, including the Black Warrior River, Rickwood Caverns State Park, and numerous hiking and biking trails.
