Lincoln, Arkansas is a small rural village with a population of around 2,300 people. It was originally settled in the 1820s and was incorporated in 1901. The village is known for its annual Arkansas Apple Festival, which takes place every October and attracts thousands of visitors each year. The festival celebrates the local apple harvest, and features music, arts and crafts, carnival rides, and a parade. Lincoln also has a historic downtown district that includes several buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The village is located in the Ozark Mountains and is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery, including rivers, forests, and mountains.
