Bradley County, in the great state of Arkansas, was established on December 18, 1840, and was named in honor of Hugh Bradley, a veteran of the War of 1812 and an early settler of the region. Originally a part of Union County, the newly-formed Bradley County had Warren as its county seat.

The county's economy was primarily based on agriculture, with cotton and timber being the major industries for many years. It also played a significant role in producing tomatoes, becoming renowned for its high-quality crop, which gave rise to the annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival. The county is home to the Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge, which is the world's largest green tree reservoir and offers outdoor enthusiasts a beautiful and serene environment for fishing, hunting, and wildlife observation.

Fun Fact: Bradley County is known as the "Pink Tomato Capital of the World" due to its long history of producing a unique variety of pink tomatoes, and every year in June, the county celebrates its tomato heritage with the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival, which is one of the oldest continuous-running festivals in the state of Arkansas.
