He graduated in 1973 from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a B.S. in Finance while playing on scholarship for the CU Golf Team. After graduation, he moved to Chicago to take a sales job with a commercial real estate advisory firm that ultimately became LaSalle Partners, part of the now world-wide firm of Jones Lang LaSalle. He is a Real Estate Broker in Arizona and has been since November 1991, when he moved there to sell real estate exclusively in Desert Mountain. Prior to that, he was a licensed Broker in Illinois, Texas and Ohio going back to 1973. He left the on-site sales office in September 2013. He has a very successful track record representing both sellers and buyers. He has been a member of the Desert Mountain Club for most of the thirty-three years he has worked there. He and Ann became residents of Desert Mountain in October, 2011.He has many outside interests including sales and marketing process software development, photography, fly-fishing, hiking and skiing, but his main passion is golf. He has competed in five USGA national championships including the 2012 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship, 1985 U.S Amateur, 3 U.S Mid-Amateur championships, three British Amateur championships, a number of state opens and amateur championships, and has won both the match and stroke play championships at Desert Mountain. He provides outstanding service to both prospective buyers and sellers, both inside and outside the gates of Desert Mountain. This outstanding service stems not only from the superior world-wide reach of RE/MAX Fine Properties and some special tools they provide him, but also from an extremely detailed and proprietary, multi-purpose software system he has developed to satisfy his need for market information, research, inventory management, client communication and outbound marketing purposes that far exceeds the capability of traditional general real estate tools such as the Multiple Listing Service. This system has information on all available property and all sales in Desert Mountain, and is shared with all his clients in a transparent manner. These resources and his experience, combined with his highly refined processes, allow him to assist clients in defining what they want, and in getting the maximum value for their money. His partners include his Realtor wife, Ann, and Jeff Barchi and Ashley Hills-Arias. Jeff has recently been ranked as the 18th Realtor for RE/MAX in the US, and 57th in the world. Ashley, also an Associate Broker, has been active in the north Scottsdale market for nearly six years, with a special emphasis on Desert Mountain.
