Coming from Minnesota, the Valley of the Sun just made sense as the warm winters, citrus and palm trees were a huge draw for me. My husband, Olivier, is from Paris, France and our now, two grown daughters, loved the pool in the backyard. We enjoy hiking, pickle-ball, traveling, spring training baseball and lots of local eateries. We truly found our oasis in the desert in Surprise.
